BREAKING: 4,000-Year-Old 3D Mural Discovered in Peru

Archaeologists have uncovered a unique polychrome mural at Huaca Yolanda in Peru’s La Libertad region, estimated to date from 3,000 to 4,000 years ago.

Measuring approx 20 ft long, the mural was found within a U-shaped temple, an area possibly dedicated to water and fertility rituals.

What makes this discovery extraordinary is its three-dimensional design. The relief features fish-like figures, one with a body resembling a woven fishing net, alongside imagery of plants and stars. The mural was built from clay mixed with organic material, then painted in vivid colors, showing the complexity of pre-Inca ceremonial art.

This is the first find of its kind in the region—both for its sculptural depth and its symbolic imagery. Researchers believe it represents sacred connections to the sea, the stars, and agricultural fertility.

Discoveries like Huaca Yolanda remind us that Peru’s ancient cultures were creating monumental art centuries before the rise of the Inca Empire.

  1. I am curious if they explain the new discovery called Natron theory on these tours. I bought the book and found it most interesting. It explains the nubs on stones that fit together in so many random angles. It explains how limestone was cast and you can repeat this process. The only thing not yet explained is how granite could have been cast, but it seems obvious to me after learning how one can fossilize anything in 3 months in a heated silica bath. Crystals will grow, displacing water and salt in the process. It is also possible many of these stones we think are solid granite have only fossilized in the sun over time just like Noah’s ark did near Mt.Ararat. Ed Leedskalnin said he found the secret of pyramid construction and in 2 years we reverse engineered the circuit at Coral Castle. It was just a matter of examining the pieces left in the workshop. It explains the cones seen by the boys. It explains the wood wedges placed under a stone already quarried. It explains the wires leading to the tripod box. etc..etc… 24 poles were used, and quite curiously, at the Gate of the Sun, there are 24 petals around the face with a U shaped item below it’s chin, which reminds me of a type of magneto block. The staffs held by the figure are also quite curious, having 2 heads on one, suggesting something else I figured out regarding particle physics. I probably wont have time to go on this tour but will try to make the next one.
